The first one up is MAC “Rouge En Snow.” It’s one of the new holiday colors for 2017. It is an absolutely gorgeous true blue red matte that looks like velvet on the lips. Several drawbacks to this is the formula…. it’s a bit dry, tugs on the lips a tad when applying, and can be drying. But I LOVE this color and I just apply a lip balm when it starts to get dry. Try it for yourself from MAC Cosmetics here: https://www.maccosmetics.com/esearch?form_id=perlgem_search_form&search=rouge+en+snow

Next up is Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip in the shade “Red Velvet.” This is more of a brick red and is perfect for days when you want a pop of color, but don’t want your lips arriving before the rest of you. It’s very comfortable on the lips, easy to apply, and will last until lunch – this is not a matte formula, so you will have to re-apply. I have never been a fan of Bobbi Brown lipsticks until this formula. The case is also a bit weighted, so it does feel like a “luxury” product. (Always a sucker for heavy cosmetics – no explanation for that.) Find yours here: http://pecansandpeaches.com/recommends/bobbi-brown-luxe-lip-red-velvet/

Next, we have another Bobbi Brown Luxe shade in “Plum Brandy.” (Again, I do love this formula.) Taking a little dramatic turn from the reds here, but this is a beautiful color for the fall/winter. This is plum color with a lot of brown – it’s deep, but has enough plum in it to keep it from being too vampy and dark. It pairs perfectly with oatmeal cashmere sweaters that have big fluffy cowl necks, and a latte. You can find it here: http://pecansandpeaches.com/recommends/bobbi-brown-luxe-lip-plum-brandy/

Here we go with the most expensive one in the lineup – By Terry Terrybly Velvet Rouge in the shade “9.” I know the price is ridiculous, but OMG this is gorgeous and due to it being a liquid lip you will have some serious lasting power. Now – this formula is not as sticky/tacky as the Anastasia liquid lips and you will experience some transfer – especially for the first 10 minutes or so. This shade of red is more of a neutral red and won’t go pink or orange – it’s right in the middle and is red perfection. Last but not least, Bare Minerals in “Naughty.” I am a huge fan of this liquid lip formula. All in all, I think it’s the most comfortable liquid lip on the market. This color is a dark red/berry shade and it’s a beauty. It dries down to that velvety texture that I think looks so pretty in cooler months. This one also makes my lips look bigger, which I’m all about. Very wearable for every day – just enough color to brighten the face and give you a polished look.  Get one of your very own at this spot: http://pecansandpeaches.com/recommends/bare-minerals-naughty/
